"Just give me the digitals!"
It’s not hard to see that we live in a world with rapidly changing technology. In the span of ten years, we've gone from “HD” 1080p displays to 8K TV's, and in the span of 20 years, we've gone from floppy disks, to CD's, and now to USB's. With how quickly technology is changing, there just isn’t a guarantee that certain file formats or storage devices will be compatible with each other years from now. Technology is changing, and it will continue to do so. Nowadays, people are trying to scan their 8mm film and VHS tapes to digital formats, not just to keep in on their computer from deteriorating, but also because they don’t even have a VHS player anymore, or dare I say, a projector.

In the midst of all this, If you look at your living room, I can bet that while you may have bought a new computer or TV over the years, your family portrait on the wall, or photo album on the bookshelf hasn’t changed a bit. My own family is guilty of this, too. While walls get repainted, and furniture gets replaced, there’s still that family photo of us that hangs in the living room that’s been there since 2002. I promise you that I’ve changed quite a bit since then.

My point is this. Don’t let your photos deteriorate on hard drives and USB’s over time. Make them last a lifetime in print with handmade, high quality products you won’t find anywhere else.

It’s a cheesy way to put it, but hear me out. Print is far from dead, but online printers and large box stores cant vouch for longevity in printing, and certainly don’t look for color accuracy or paper quality. And If something goes wrong, you would be hard pressed to find good customer service willing to make things right. On top of all of this, I am proud of the images I take, and feel as though having the images printed through these other places de-values my work, and ultimately, how you view your Images. I would hate to see an image of mine fade and deteriorate in a year just as much as you would. Consumer grade paper and products are why many family memories and albums have now faded to magenta over the last 50 years.

This is why I choose to print my own photos for you. I take printing just as serious as I do actually taking pictures, and provide printed products I am proud to put my own name behind. My prints are made with the highest quality papers from Kodak, Fuji and Hahnemühle. These don’t come from a Kiosk or a printer from home. I’ve spent years choosing the print products and papers I wanted to offer to make sure it’s the best available. Each product is handmade, and I personally inspect the products for color accuracy on a color calibrated monitor to make sure the images are free of flaws, and vibrant and true to how they are meant to appear.  And if you have any concerns with the prints, I will be happy to address them, and work with you to make sure you're completely satisfied with the prints.

I know that this exact scenario boils down to “I’ll believe it when I see it.” That’s why I provide 3 8x10 prints after our session, totally free of charge. When compared to prints from box stores, I’m sure you’ll see a huge difference in quality between them.

It’s my belief that because photos deserve to be remembered, they also deserve to be remembered in print, and in perfect color. It’s also why I offer a vast array of printed products that will best suit your needs, and fit into any home. Take a look at some of my examples of products and talk to me about what you think will best fit your home.
